One study showed a difference of 30% and another by Google showed a 50% difference in private giving between liberals and conservatives.

People in red states are considerably more likely to volunteer for good causes, and conservatives give blood more often. If liberals and moderates gave blood as often as conservatives...the U.S. blood supply would increase by 45%."

That's so funny! We got a letter in the mail from the Repulicans, with an official membership card. I think we have to contribute a little more to actually activate the card or something, but I was kind of proud that they would actually send us a Republican card and that we can carry it around. It's like being a card carrying member of the conservative group- just like we carry temple recommends and are card carrying members of the Church. Pretty cool!
